LOVE AND HATE RESULTS

Would you choose to hate or to love?

 

" Why did you love me, what did you like in me?"

I always had this question and seems not to believe that a handsome looking guy like my husband would love a simple looking lady like me.

My husband would then jokingly reply "Because your cup is "C"." followed by a laugh. (Well, for the ladies, I guess you know what he meant) Of course, that answer is not sincere. He had told me for the _th time that he love me just for no other reason at all but because I am me.

I am a bit taller than my husband but that did not make him a less of a man in my eyes. My love for him was enough for me to see that he is the tallest guy in the whole wide world and that is enough for me.

In the 23 years of our relationship, we do also had arguments and discussions.  I have seen a lot of stories in the movies how a couple would choose to hate each other and concentrate on seeing what seems to be lacking to one another which would later on create a conflict and result to separation or divorce. I am glad we did not try and never dare going into that point.I am glad our love is much bigger than those arguments and conflict. 

I cannot sleep if he is angry with me or me angry with him. I would rather clarify matters first before we go to bed...to get what would sooth me or forgive and understand.  I choose to love...love everything about him that I disseminate all his shortcomings and give no room for hatred.

As a mother or a parent, I feel the same for my kids. I guess we all are...that is why NO PARENT WOULD SAY THAT THEIR KIDS ARE UGLY because we love them so much. If some parents had a heart to say their kids are ugly, well, maybe they have their own reasons but for me all my kids are good looking and the best.

Prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Let us choose to love than hate...for hatred cause so much pain and problems... not only to our family but to our friends, colleague and people that came into our lives. Plant the seed of love that bears the fruit of patience and understanding, hope and forgiveness...that we may learn to give others a chance to live a happy life. In this world, Lord, No one is perfect. We need love to conquer all.  In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Lesson Learned:
