REMEMBERING YOU

Do I want people to remember me?

Proverbs 10:7
The name of the righteous is used in blessings, but the name of the wicked will rot.

Salin sa Magandang Balita Biblia:
Kawikaan 10:7
Ang alaala ng matuwid, mananatili kailan man, ngunit ang pangalan ng masama ay tiyak na mapaparam.

Personal Application:
Christmas time, parties and special event in my life, these are the times that I have to recall the people that I want to be with. The people we loved and
loved us would be first on the list and, definitely, the people that are good to us would be next on the line and those that causes us harm and had bad intentions might not be there at all.

For some people who did a great sacrifice for the sake of many, they were even given monuments, memorials and annual celebrations. In showbiz, we always remember Mang Dolphy, a great comedian because of the positive effect he has in our lives…he made us laugh. It is easy for us to talk about him and would be glad to remember his name.

Does anybody recall the name of Paquito Diaz or any villain in the movie? Seldom does… maybe because of the role he played. I often times watched the sad fate of some movie villains and often times they were really forgotten. (Although, in real life many of them are not really bad as the role they played in the movies but when they are good actors/actresses, it is sad to say that the impression lasts.)

We never forget about Jesus and the thing He did in our favor. In our hearts and mind, we never and should never forget HIM.

As for myself, perhaps I should start observing if I had been good to other people…if the memory I would leave is right to be able to maintain a soft spot in their hearts.

Do I want to be remembered? YES, definitely. I guess we all want to be.

Prayer:
Our heavenly Father, thank you for the teaching You have given me today. Thank you for reminding me that I always have to do the right thing in order to be remembered in a good way… that I would remain in the hearts of the people I loved and loved me, friends, family and all the people that had been part of my life.
Please help me make them feel that I remember them as well…and all the good things they have done for me will never be forgotten. Guide me as I make some effort in making them feel that the good things they did for me remains. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Lesson Learned:
The heart remembers love and righteousness.

    1. Yes, that is true. It is sad that not many can have such recognition although we all cannot have monuments or recognition, but the fact the our loved ones and friend would remember us is enough to feel appreciation. Thank you for your comments, I hope you will keep in touch..God bless!
