Continuation…
After the
hospital visit we managed to reach the church early. Seated at the second to
the last row, I was thinking how money had great effect in our lives after
seeing a mother’s peace of mind and contentment. Her dream for her son had finally
come true. Her son finally was able to support them and his family. Mother had
placed her hopes with his son. I just prayed that she would be thankful to God
for such blessing of peace of mind through him.
While in
this state, my eyes was looking at the church youth practicing their part on
praise and worship when a church worker approached me and had managed to sell
two sachet organic coffee which I do not intend to use but bought it because of
the sympathy I had for him. I know he needs money badly too and had been
placing his hope for survival with God. I do not have much but is willing to
share a little. He lived a very basic and simple life but a smile would never
go out of his face. Often times in his testimony, he would say God had never
failed him.
He and
another church worker asked me to give an inspirational song before the message
of the night was given. I also give in to that. Totally unprepared, my heart
prepared the song for me and before I was able to sing the song the church
Pastor announced the need for the church electrical wiring replacements and my
brother in Christ – Steven gave a testimony being under a great challenge in
life at the moment then I knew right then and there why my heart chose the
song.
It was
titled “ Great Is Thy Faithfulness”
Great
is Thy faithfulness, Oh, God my Father.

In every
aspect of nowadays life, Money has a great involvement… may it be personal,
family, church and others. But there is a realization on one aspect that money
cannot provide, the ability to move on with our lives when we place our HOPES
to GOD.
You chose to sing a very heartwarming song. One of the things that I learned while studying in a Catholic school is that "He who sings prays twice".
TumugonBurahinI feel blessed with that comment. Thank you so much, Lady Anne. God bless!
BurahinYet, another truly wonderful message. Thank you for sharing such inspiration that would make us think and ponder about our lives. :)
TumugonBurahinThanks marielle. God Bless!
BurahinAmen!!! i super i agree.. as stated on driven purpose i life.. We hope to cope. God is always giving us reason to hope to cope to our struggles or challenges on our life. :)
TumugonBurahinWe have that book. my son bought one but I haven't borrowed it yet to start..perhaps..I would start reading it too
BurahinSo true, God has and always been faithful, no matter how we wander off. Knowing we have a God who is constant is comforting, a real source of hope.
TumugonBurahinAmen to that Sis!
BurahinThis is so timely with what we are experiencing now... the Zamboanga Crisis Now on Day 12! Armed conflict is an equalizer... no planes... no stores... no banks! But, we still HOPE for the best and we still believe in God's plans!!!
TumugonBurahinYes, God is faithful to us.
BurahinI agree with this one. I know GOD has a plan for everyone..Let's always hope for the best
TumugonBurahinThanks, Allan. God bless!
BurahinI have learned to look "ahead" - to His second coming and imagine my miseries coming to an end and enjoy wonderful riches for all the saints in heaven!
TumugonBurahinSuch a wonderful world it would be..no miseries, no pains...all is but the glory of the Lord...what a happy place!
BurahinThis is such a good passage from the Bible. I remember my parents' choir singing this every mass.
TumugonBurahinAmen! Love this song too! :)
BurahinMoney has its role in life, in our daily transactions...but this has to be placed in good use. As a mother, I also place my hopes on my son. I pray for him to be able to reach his own dreams...but in the process also an instrument of hope to others.
TumugonBurahinWhat a great, great song. I really miss attending the services in my Christian church before, but I don't worry because I know God will root me in a good church. As for the money, I always believe money is God's instrument in helping us. As long as we handle it correctly. :-)
TumugonBurahinMoney should be the key to help other to achieved their dreams. Great song! Thanks for sharing:)
TumugonBurahinAte Glen can you share to me worship songs. Gusto ko un ang kantahin ni Matt :) Anyway, I agree with what you said. Money is really a big part of everyday lives, but God is One Who makes all things possible. God bless us more.
TumugonBurahinSige, I Will lend you my tapes
Burahinsigh, this post really touched me, almost teary eyed. thank you, ms. glenda for all the inspiring posts. i agree, we should all place our hopes to HIM.

Burahinanother great post and yes i trust God so I put my hope to him
TumugonBurahinAmen! (Clapped again!)
BurahinGod will always provide. even when we least expect him to. and money is fleeting. what good is being rich when you're not even happy with your life.
TumugonBurahinAmen! God is good all the time!
