Akalain Mo 'Yon...(A Poem)

I was doing my daily journal and searching myself for the Lord's message for me  for the day...trying to see what God would teach me today...I closed my eyes... search my feelings and began writing soon as I opened my eyes...

Ano at tila ba di’ ako makuntento?

Tama! Iyon na nga siguro ang solusyon!
Ibaling ang isip sa tamang edukasyon!
Sa negosyo, sa trabaho, pagpapalawig ng pananampalataya...
At tigilan ang mukmok at pagngangangawa!

Akalain mo ‘yon?! J

I would try to write this in english one day. I thought of sharing this hoping to help enlighten hearts of friends who would have this same feeling. Eventhough this poem was nothing in relation with the verse I was having which is Proverbs 11:2 still I had my day positively happy and productive afterwards!

To God be the glory! Have a blessed day!

  1. Oh, I love your poem.Part nga ata natin ang pagiging laging balisa. You know what, di ba my dad passed away June 25. Alam mo ba, on that day, sa morning when I thought everything was ok na (cuz he seemed so over his sickness na and ready to go home), I went to the image of the Divine Mercy and kung dati I would never even say "I Trust in you" and "your will be done", I told Him those words. And during lunch time when biglang bumagsak ang kalagayan ng father ko,I went to Him again and went over my bargaining- I just said "I trust in you." Trusting in Him lifted all my fears-and helped me cope with my dad being gone...

  2. Akalain mo yun...writing poems is not one of my talents, although I have written a couple of them. Sometimes, I realize, it is easier to write one from the outpouring of the heart, a divine inspiration, if I may say so, like this one.

I've started out my own prayer journal blog...but it's still set to private. :-)

  17. Beautiful poem, Ms. Glenda! Full of wisdom talaga ang posts nyo. This is so true. I think the difference between people who give up and the ones who don't is faith. It's hard if we depend on ourselves because we'll get nowhere. On the other hand, depending on God fully leads to bliss. :-)
