How it is to be a good friend to others then?

A pot cover, cooking spoon and a little brown checkered teddy bear were my only friends and playmate when I was young. I was not used in dealing with other people which made it difficult for me to go along with the others as I grew up.  Often times I would ask myself if I am doing it right to create friends.
